My Story
The Singapore Children's Society protects and nurtures children and young people of all races and religions. In 2014, the society reached out to over 68,000 children, youth and families in need. The Society operates 10 service centres across Singapore, offering services in the six categories of:
- Caregiving (taking in abused and neglected children)
- Community (providing financial aid, casework and counselling)
- Developmental (through various camps and projects)
- Preventive (such as anti-bullying campaigns and prevention workshops)
- Public Education (including commissioning research studies in Singapore)
- Remedial (through various rehabilitative services to children and youths, with guidance and counselling for their families).
The trip is organized by Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee. Each team member has committed to raise at least $1,000 for the Singapore Children's Society.
