The Nail Social is a lifestyle nail salon that offers manicure, pedicure and foot massage services, enjoyed with a personal iPad pre-loaded with Netflix movies, games, magazines and books. What's more, all customers get to enjoy a complimentary glass of Wine on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings!

Aside from offering a relaxing and therapeutic experience for our customers, The Nail Social is also a socially conscious enterprise that hopes to create sustainable, positive impact on the community. Focusing on local underprivileged women, we work with family services centres, social service agencies and women's shelters to reach out to single-mothers, ex-offenders, at-risk youths and women from low-income households, in hope of empowering them with professional manicurist vocational skills training and stable employment, thereby paving the way for better life opportunities. Besides offering full-time employment, we also embrace flexible working hours for those whose familial commitments might have traditionally prevented them from entering the workforce.

At The Nail Social, we hope that our customers' experience and overall sense of satisfaction are enhanced, knowing that every dollar spent is not only as a treat to themselves but is channelled into making a difference to someone else's life.

TARGET

The Nail Social has put 10 women through our Vocational Training and Employment programme since we started in January 2015. However, as we are only a single small salon, we are limited in the number of women we can employ. We hope to open more outlets within the next 12 months to increase our capacity to help train and employ more women.
