Motivate us to loose 88kg collectively in 3 months!
My Story
Working in the healthcare sector require us to constantly care and put our beneficiary needs before us. Thus being healthy is a priority so that we can better care for them.
“Leaving the FATs of Life” is a fundraising effort by the staff of Metta Medical Care namely Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre, Metta Hospice Care and Metta Home Nursing, to lose weight collectively and lead a healthier lifestyle so that we can continue caring for our communities.
We aim to loose 88kg collectively within 3 months from April to June 2015!
Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly was established in June 1998 to provide rehabilitative care for people who suffer from physical impairment as a result of stroke, injuries or other illnesses.
Set up in June 2000 to offer free palliative home care service to patients with life limiting illnesses, the Metta Hospice Care aims to provide comfort care and allows them to live with dignity throughout the last phase of their lives.
The latest service, Metta Home Nursing which started in April 2015 manages home bound patients with Chronic Illnesses to prevent recurrent admissions to hospitals.
