My Story

Dear all, More than 2 million people visited Angkor Wat in 2013. For the glimpse of the past, for ancient temple ruins and cultural heritages; but behind the many facets of the Kingdom, today Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world, ranked last in terms of quality of life in ASEAN with 2 million people living in poverty and 1/3 of the population living on less than USD1 a day. Water being one of the major crises, is taking away 4000 children's lives away EVERYDAY as their bodies are too weak to fight off diarrhoea and other diseases caused by the quality of water. Together with MAD in partnership with Water for Cambodia, I am going north this December 2014 to help rural villagers in Cambodia gain access to clean water by building water filters. Each water filter costs USD100 and is capable of supporting a family of 5 for up to 20 years. One step at a time, I am hoping to fundraise for 10 families with the help of you.
