Personal Challenge

As part of World Vision Malaysia's Together for Every Child Campaign, I have taken up the Water for Life Challenge. I will carry a bottle filled with dirty water everywhere I go for a month and raise funds for clean water projects in Asia and Africa. Please support my effort by making a donation and sharing my story ! Every little bit counts. Lets give a child the hope to have clean water.

My Story

When God opened the door for me to serve the poor and needy, God made a way for me to be a part of World Vision Malaysia's team in making a difference in the life of the marginalised community. On the first day of work, Together for Every Child campaigned was introduced and we were told that World Vision Malaysia will attempt to raise RM3 million by September 2015 to support development projects  that will focus on education, health and water. These projects will benefit the children in Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Indonesia, China,Vietnam, Lesotho and South Africa.(https://www.worldvision.com.my/GetInvolved/Pages/tfec.aspx). As a staff of World Vision Malaysia, we will attempt to raise  RM1,000  each within a month as part of our contribution to the project. My initial response was I can't do it.  To raise RM1,000 for the campaign within a month… How can it be possible?  For a while, I just didn't believe that I could do it within such short span of time.

God is good and gracious. He gave me courage and reminded me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. God has challenged me to dream BIG! As a result, I am hoping to raise enough to build a well for this project. Yes, a WELL for the people  so that they can have clean water!! It won't be easy because I have to raise more than RM1000 to build a well for the people but its OK! God has put this in my heart. I need to stretch my faith and believe in God. It will be an exciting journey of faith stretching. Would you like to journey with me?
