Metta

Metta Welfare Association is hosting its annual sporting event, Metta Charity Run on 5 September 2015 which aims to raise funds for its programs and services in aid of some 1,000 beneficiaries from various races and religions. As part of Siemens Pte Ltd’s corporate philanthropic initiative, we hope to help Metta in its fundraising efforts and raise a total of $5,000 for the less privileged in the community. Metta currently provides the following services:         Disability Care – residential care, respite care, day activity care and training for the intellectually disabled.         Medical care – home hospice care for the terminally ill, day rehabilitative services for elderly and stroke patients.         Children Care – early intervention for children with developmental delays, learning difficulties and intellectual disabilities.         Alumni Care – vocational training, employment assistance and support for graduates of Metta School.         Special Education – special education and vocational training for children with mild intellectual disability and/or autism; and         Others – welfare services required by the community.To register for the Metta Charity Run 2015, please visit http://www.metta.org.sg/mettarun2015/ For more information about Metta Welfare Association, please go to www.metta.org.sg
