Healing through Donna's Legacy

The Diao Del Carmen Fund in Memory of Rolando and Donna Diao is fundraising for International Care Ministries Ltd.

Throughout May and June, every dollar donated to ICM up to $20,000 will be matched by Dr. Rolando V. Del Carmen in memory of Rolando and Donna Diao. Your donation to the matching fund will allow twice the number of families to have access to early childhood education, life-changing surgery and family support.

My Story

My sister Donna was strong, a leader and protector of those she cherished. She loved my children, her family, and friends with depth and passion. Like our late father, Donna supported programs across the globe, mission trips, constructed churches, homes, clothed orphans, and fed an estimated 1,500 people after Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines.

After Donna's unexpected passing in 2015, many of you partnered with us and ICM to memorialize her by sponsoring a kindergarten, medical operations, and health and livelihood programs for the ultrapoor in the Philippines. Thanks to your generosity, Donna’s impact has multiplied- in the past year, we impacted 29 young children, sponsored 17 surgeries, and changed the lives of over 2,000 family members. 

This year, our hope is to continue to carry on Donna’s legacy of service. Our goal is to impact 90 children by giving them access to early childhood education, changing the trajectory of 1,200 family members, and providing life- changing surgery for 31 children. 

You might not have known Donna, but meeting her would have changed you- her compassion and care for the marginalized would have resonated with you and would have made you want to do something. This year, in honor of her legacy, we are sponsoring early childhood education programs in the Philippines and helping provide life- changing surgeries to those who need it most, and we would like to invite you to join us! All donations will be matched up to US$20,000.00, thanks to the generosity of Dr. Rolando V. Del Carmen and the The Diao Del Carmen Fund in Memory of Rolando and Donna Diao.
