"Whether an illness affects your heart, your leg or your brain, it's still an illness, and there should be no distinction." - Michelle Obama
My Story
Did you know? 1 out of 3 Malaysians struggles with mental health problems. And 79% of those who suffer from depression are from the B40 low-income community. Despite being the largest group suffering, the community cannot afford expensive mental healthcare support.
Who am I contributing to?
In collaboration with Nyawa Organization Malaysia, AIESEC in Taylor’s University Malaysia is conducting a volunteering project called A Way To Find Peace This project aims to shed light on mental health awareness where 100% of the funds raised will be directed to providing affordable mental health services for the B40 community.
Why contribute?
Mental health is a priority. According to MOH, mental health is predicted to be the second-highest health issue in Malaysia, which is a concerning trend.
However, not everyone can afford the support and treatment that they need.
Therefore, we need YOUR help by donating even a small amount or by sharing this fundraising initiative to the people around you. YOU WILL be able to make a difference and leave an impact. Throughout June, I am aiming to reach a target of 1000RM to help the A Way To Find Peace project.
How can I contribute?
This campaign takes place from 1st June - 28th June. Throughout June, I am aiming to reach a target of 1000RM to help support this cause. If you are able, we would appreciate it if you could help to achieve the target or even beyond!
- You can contribute to our initiative by clicking the Donate Now button.
- You can help support this fundraising campaign by sharing this page hence raising mental health awareness! I and the whole AWTFP project team thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing support for this cause.
Please remember, no matter how big or small you are willing to give, or even if you can only share this initiative, it will save lives.
Stay safe, sending love to all of you~
