Time to up the cadence

My Story

As I sat on my rusty hybrid, soaked, shattered and 10 miles still to go to Newcastle on the first day of the first Wheels for Change event in 2011, little did I think that (a) I would ever walk properly again, (b) I would soon have a drawer dedicated solely to lycra, and (c) within 3 years Wheels for Change would have raised over GBP1 million for charity. But it's all true - and it's been simply amazing. 

Last year we held the first WFC Asia event on Batam, attracting over 220 participants and raising SGD 110k for charity. It was a fantastic day and an extremely satisfying culmination of a lot of hard work. I am so pleased that we are in a position to repeat the event in 2015.

This year's WFC Asia ride will take place on 12th September and will be supporting 3 charities: Bizlink Centre. Rainbow Centre and SDSC. Please help me to raise a huge amount of cash for these amazing organisations.

My personal plan is to ride the Asia event on Sat 12th September and then hop on a plane to the UK to take part in the 3-day 325 mile ride - a somewhat physical challenge for someone with little legs! Thank you for your kind support.
