Stickers for Animal Protection are fundraising for Animals Asia Foundation Limited
My Story
Our team came together after going to an animal awareness event hosted by our school. The event gave us great insight on various different issues related to animals all across the globe. From the effect of plastic pollution on marine animals; animal trafficking and how certain zoos bring in animals; irresponsible breeding of pets within pet shops. Despite having some prior knowledge to this topic, the pictures and stories still shocked and disgusted us. After the seminar we decided to do more research and create this fundraising, to better educate the busy mass with cute and informative stickers.
Our team came together after visiting an Animal Awareness event hosted by our school. The event gave us an assortment of knowledge about the various different issues related to animal abuse that is seen not only in Asia, but around the globe. The knowledge ranged from plastic pollution and the harmful effects it brings, animal trafficking and the potential mistreatment of animals from zoos, irresponsible breeding of pets, and more.
Despite already having prior knowledge of the topic, the pictures and stories they showed still shocked us. After the seminar, our team decided to not only do more research, but also to delve further into the situation and to see if we were able to help contribute to the progress of animal care. This is when we decided to create our fundraiser, to better educate the busy mass with not only information about animal cruelty, but to also provide others with something nice along the way.
