The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) is raising money to support PRCS's humanitarian mission through the purchase of an ambulance, medical equipment and supplies, medicines, and other relief items. PRCS has been working tirelessly to provide emergency services amidst Israeli military incursions into Palestinian territory, but they are stretched to capacity to provide the services as the incursion continues. They urgently need your help to keep their work going.
You can make a difference by donating today. Your contribution will go towards providing much-needed relief for Palestine Red Crescent so they can continue their humanitarian mission of supplying emergency care and treatment services to those in need during this difficult time.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) was mandated in
1969 to provide humanitarian, health and social services for
the Palestinian population whenever and wherever needed,
be it in the occupied Palestinian territory or among the
Palestinian diaspora. It has 4,200 employees in the West
Bank and Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt, in addition
to a network of more than 20,000 volunteers.
Following the 1993 Oslo Peace Accord and the formal establishment of a Ministry of Health by the Palestinian Authority, the PRCS was mandated to provide pre-hospital emergency services and national ambulance services in the occupied Palestinian territory. PRCS thus assumed the role of a complementary body to the public authorities, addressing the needs of the most vulnerable.
