Tsunami and major magnitude earthquake of 7.4SR hit Palu and Donggala, Indonesia (28/09). Local media reported 925 death tolls and rising. Over 48.025 people displaced and 90 people reported missing.
Some of the children affected by the disaster lost their parents. The tsunami have washed their loved ones out to the place they don’t know, and the children woke up being alone. Not to mention trauma they are threatened with.
Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik (YSTC)-partner of Save the Children in Indonesia, conducted emergency response to help the children. This was a devastating tsunami-earthquake and they are in urgent need of basic supplies such as food, blanket, tents and sanitation. We are delivering those items as our initial response. We would also build Child Friendly Space for children affected to help them recover.
This is our responsibility to save the children and we are doing maximum efforts on the ground. Support us to help the victims of tsunami clicking this link
