Our precious old Golden Girl Thong Dee struggles every winter season and as she gets older we get more and more concerned how winter will effect her frail body. We try to keep her warm with elephant sized Blanket/Jackets, light a warm fire just outside the enclosure and give her extra sand for her to sleep comfortably. This year we would like to add a wind break of sorts to the back corner of the enclosure and install heat lamps for extra warmth.
