Since moving into our current location in 2015, we at Love Kuching Project have worked hard to provide a safe space for every cat that comes through our doors. From our very first boss cat, Echo, to our latest admission Bobby, the cattery has welcomed numerous cats – many requiring urgent medical and rehabilitative treatment for chronic illnesses and/or debilitating injuries, as well as palliative care. Dedicated to improving the lives of cats and promoting their welfare, our volunteers have tirelessly devoted time and effort into the rescuing, rehabilitating and care of these chronically ill, injured, disabled and abandoned strays.
Unfortunately, our unit at Joo Chiat is in the process of being sold and we've been given up till 20 November to move out. We need the financial support to fund our move and ensure that we can continue to provide safety, shelter, and sustenance to allow the cats under our care to live out their best lives. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the costs of relocating – including a two month deposit and catification fees.
Anything raised during this campaign will go directly towards these costs, and if exceeded, the money will go towards costs of medical care, boarding, food and supplements.
We appreciate any help and support you can give as we make this transition. No amount is too small, and your contribution – whether by supporting us financially or even just by sharing our page – could make all the difference!
We can't wait to start a new chapter in our journey, and would love to greet all of you once again in our new home!
We are extremely thankful to our community of volunteers, ex-volunteers, fosterers, rescuers, cat sponsors and donors for their unwavering compassion and support over the years, allowing us to continue giving our feline friends a safe and comfortable space to receive the love and care they deserve.
Love Kuching Project is 100% volunteer-run and donation-driven, funded by kind people like you! Check out our Instagram page here to keep yourself updated on the daily lives of the cats at our shelter and witness these incredible kitties overcome their various medical conditions!

Love Kuching Project cares for sick, injured, and chronically ill strays. According to the Cat Welfare Society, the estimated number of community cats in Singapore is currently 60,000. While an increasing amount of work has been done to advocate for the humane treatment and protection of these strays, many with incurable illnesses and disabilities continue to lack access to timely medical treatment and a safe place to recover or to die in peace.
We believe that our community cats deserve to live out a safe and dignified life even in the face of lifelong illnesses or debilitating injuries. Join us in Loving The Strays as we bravely embark with them on this long road of recovery and rehabilitation.
