My Story

Allyssa’s Story

-         Allyssa was diagnosed with global developmental delay
-         She joined the early intervention programme at the CDC in 2017
-         After a year of intensive services, her overall development showed remarkable improvement
-         She will be starting the reception class at an international primary school next year.

-         自2017年起於明德兒童啓育中心(CDC)接受早前介入服務
-         經過一年的學習後，她的整體發展有顯注進步
-         她更將於來年升讀國際小學的涵接課程

About CDC

The CDC is a non-profit organisation that provides support to the widest spectrum of Special Educational Needs (SEN) issues in English and Chinese in Hong Kong. The CDC strives to follow evidence-based practice in early year’s education. Staff members adopt an interdisciplinary approach to facilitate children’s development taking into account the children’s individual education, individual needs and the importance of parents in a child’s learning.

-         Served 402 children
-         Gifted 311 hours of financially-assisted services to underprivileged families
-         Provided 1,780 hours of group programmes & 1,577 hours of individual therapy
-         Reached 234 parents in outreach programmes

-         為弱勢家庭提供 311 小時的資助服務
