This year, together with Sam and a group of SVPs, we are pleased to introduce the CEO Charity Challenge – our new internal staff engagement for OCBC Cycle 2020. This initiative will make participating in OCBC Cycle even more meaningful as we aim to raise funds for our charity partners as well as for OCBC’s own initiative to plant trees that will absorb and store CO2, the biggest climate changer.
My Story
Muscular Dystrophy is a group of diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass. In muscular dystrophy, abnormal genes interfere with the production of proteins needed to form healthy muscle. There are many different kinds of muscular dystrophy. Symptoms of the most common variety begin in childhood, mostly in boys. Muscles waste away and many sufferers will need to be in a wheelchair for life.
There's no cure for muscular dystrophy. But medications and therapy can help manage symptoms and slow the course of the disease.
