Want to make a difference to the world? Start by emptying your plate!
My Story
Malaysians waste 15,000 tonnes of food daily including 3,000 tonnes that is still fit for consumption and should not be discarded. Deputy Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Nogeh Gumbek said the increasing food wastage especially during festive seasons should not be made a habit and should be curbed.
During this Ramadan Season, a season of giving inspiration and receiving good, let us try to be a modest human being and a responsible Malaysian by giving our initiative in emptying our plates whenever we have a meal.
How does this challenge works?
Step 1: DONATE any amount you wish in any currency (except Japanese Yen)
Step 2: TAKE A PHOTO of the plate of food you have before and TAKE A PICTURE with the empty plate after your meal.
Step 3: POST your picture on any social media with the hashtag #EmptyYourPlate and our campaign link.
Step 4: NOMINATE 3 of your friends and TAG them in your post to take up the challenge.
It's THAT SIMPLE!
Have fun, do it for a good cause, do it for the world!
