KLIMB KINABALU : FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

Our mission is to provide funds to needy cancer patients. Klimb Kinabalu : Fight Against Cancer is organized to raise the level of cancer awareness in our community and generate sufficient funds in aiding those in need of help. This annual climb is named as such in respect of the “K” word in Kinabalu.

Funds raised from this effort will ensure uninterrupted supply of financial assistance, surgical equipment, liquid food supplements, prostheses, and prescribed drugs for poor cancer patients and also provide young cancer survivors with educational scholarship. Your donation to this fund is a way to make a real impact in the lives of those less fortunate and support our overall mission in providing all possible accessibility to necessary assistance during their recovery period.

A group of 15 volunteers has pledged to summit Mount Kinabalu from 17th to 20th August 2016. The 15 volunteers have pledged to raise a sum of RM100,000 which will help aid cancer patients with necessary needs.

Every year, our commitment towards helping poor patients is constantly rising hence fundraising needs to be a continuous effort. Without funds, MAKNA will not be able to meet its various commitments and responsibilities. In 2015 we aided 5,443 poor patients disbursing them a total of RM9.4 million.
