From 7th until 8th of March 2015, a group of elite veteran footballers and celebrities will compete in the Carlsberg 16th PSC 7-side International Football Tournament that will take place in Penang. The team will be lead by Fahrin Ahmad, a renowned local actor and a Red Ribbon Celebrity Supporter.
This team is special in so many ways because they are dedicating their effort to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS. The team, known as the " Act Against AIDS" team will also help to raise funds to support the following programmes.
1) Paediatrics AIDS Programme – to assists children and teenagers who are infected by HIV.
2) HIV prevention programme for young adults
3) Training and capacity building programme for HIV and AIDS outreach workers
4) Policy development works to eliminate stigma and discrimination against AIDS at workplace.
