Funds have been distributed to a total of 23 families residing in PPR Kerinchi with each family receiving RM150.

With COVID-19 and the Movement Control Order (MCO), life is difficult, especially for those who are in need even before the outbreak.

At Small Changes, we believe the current crisis is a good time to live up to our motto, “Small Changes, Big Differences”. Hence, we are glad to announce that we are starting a fundraiser to help our strategic partner, Kelas Sinar Cemerlang, a weekly free tuition class run by volunteers!

Kelas Sinar Cemerlang's classes are for primary school students living in PPR Kerinchi, a housing area in Lembah Pantai assigned by the Government for low-income groups. Although classes have now been suspended due to the MCO, Small Changes and Sinar Cemerlang are collecting contributions to help Kelas Sinar Cemerlang students and their families.

Therefore, we're hoping to collect funds to help families get their basic needs - rice, vegetables, meat and other groceries. Funds collected will be channelled to families in the form of grocery deliveries or fund transfers, depending on the RMO in effect. For example, if the family can get their own groceries, we will transfer the funds to them.
