GivingWeek is part of #GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. This year it is celebrated on Tuesday 3rd December.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

When so much attention is given to what makes us different, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together. Generosity is our individual power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value we can all act on.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Click on the green “DONATE NOW”
2. Select the charity you wish to donate to from the dropdown menu.
3. Once you have donated, help us spread kindness! Write down on a piece of paper who you donated to and why you support this cause. Take a photo and post it on your social media. Hashtag #GivingWeekSG, #GivingTuesday, #UNselfie and #SimplyGiving.
