The Inclusive Outdoor Classroom (IOC)  is starting a fund to further the services provided to children of all abilities. In addition, advocacy efforts to support services to the disabled is a goal of the IOC. The IOC sees public private partnerships and quality direct service as key to sustainability looking to the future. Your support will change lives and change society.

The IOC started with 8 children 16 parents and 5 volunteers. Today there are 60 children 120 parents and 30 volunteers and 40 children are on a waiting list. Children who enrolled in the inception of IOC are still enrolled in the programme

Two Saturdays of each month children participate in activities which improve their social – emotional and cognitive development. Activities include reading, writing, sports, stonework play, Math skills, music, virtual reality, arts and crafts, pretend play, science and field trips.

One of the key determinants in a successful classroom programme is parental involvement. IOC has given these parents a platform from which they can advocate on behalf of their children and themselves.

The IOC recruits, trains and develops young people as volunteers who come from different academic pursuits. Some work directly with the children while others play supporting.
