It is that time of the year again where MAKNA takes pride climbing Mount Kinabalu for Cancer.

People battling CANCER wants only ONE thing – to WIN the Battle at all costs. At MAKNA, we are committed to providing accessibility to financially-challenged cancer patients to necessary treatment and services. Together with ordinary Malaysians from all walks of life, MAKNA hopes to inspire an extraordinary change and give people affected by cancer renewed hope in life.

Klimb for Kancer is a fundraising campaign that aims to raise the level of awareness of cancer and generate sufficient funds to help financially-challenged cancer patients and their families.  The letter "K" used in Klimb for Kancer (Climb for Cancer) is derived from the Kinabalu.  This initiative is hoped to encourage patients to adopt pro-active steps in the area of prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer.

Funds raised from this initiative will provide uninterrupted supply of financial assistance, surgical equipment, liquid food, prostheses, and prescribed drugs to poor cancer patients and also provide young cancer survivors with educational scholarships.

Each climber/fundraiser shall pay for their own package i.e. Registration (download form here) and needs to raise a minimum donation of RM2,000.
