Extraordinary challenges can produce extraordinary results, but they require extraordinary strength and determination.
We are pleased to announce our 4-person relay attempt across Loch Ness on 26 July 2022*. This is the first time a relay team from Hong Kong has attempted a swim across this famous freshwater loch (lake) in the Scottish Highlands. The swim is approximately 37 kilometres (23 miles) with a water temperature of around 13- 15 degrees Celsius. We will be swimming in hourly slots and we hope to swim the length of the lake in around 12 – 15 hours without encountering the Loch Ness Monster!
According to a recent study by Hong Kong Baptist University, 47% of HK secondary school kids don't know how to swim. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and are raising money for Splash Foundation, Hong Kong's only charitable organisation dedicated to providing swim lessons for kids and adults from under-served communities.
