The Angkor Wat Half Marathon is an annual charity run to raise funds for victims of antipersonnel mines in Cambodia. This year we want to go the “extra mile”. A group of friends in Malaysia joined together and we are out to run and raise funds for Make-A-Wish Malaysia.
Make-A-Wish Malaysia grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Make-A-Wish Malaysia allows the child and their family to put aside their challenges for a day by immersing themselves in the activities organised on Wish Day. Each wish sees families filled with hope, strength and joy, and empowered once again to take up the fight against the medical challenges they face.
It is these magical experiences that Make-A-Wish Malaysia seek to fulfil and will continue to do so with the support of dedicated volunteers, supporters, fundraisers and sponsors.
Since its inception 2010, Make-A-Wish Malaysia has granted over 250 wishes.
Our goal for the runners of Make-A-Wish Malaysia is to raise funds and adopt a wish, and bring a smile to the kids and their families.
