My Story

I will be taking part in Coca-Cola LONG RUN 2014 in 16/05/2014 and aiming to raise money for Cancer Society of Maldives. I am a stronger believer that early detection of cancer can greatly improves the odds of successful treatment and survival. However, in order to that our community need to be made aware of cancer; how to detect it, treatments available etc. In 2011 I had a close encounter with cancer it was not me, but a member of my family. By the grace of God that person survived, due to early detection and resources to fight it, and now he is healthy and cancer free. It was the most difficult time of my life; my world will not be the same if the outcomes didn’t turn out like it did. So I am going to run to remind myself how blessed I am and to try and make a difference for someone else to light up their world by raising funds Please dig deep and donate, every little counts!
