Who we are
We are students who attend JEMS Character Academy and we are in the Green Level (P5 students). We love to have fun, make jokes, and learn about character together. We all have our unique talents and if you get to know us you'll see what we mean.
Why we care
There are a lot of things we love to do - travelling, making arts and crafts, playing games online, watching movies, and eating! But everything we do affects the environment. Our carbon footprint affects whether our lifestyle is sustainable. We only have one Earth and being able to live here and enjoy life is important to us.
Our Solution
We can fundraise to help educate everyone about how we can take care of the environment and live sustainably. But we all need to work on this together.
Who we want to support and why - A Plastic Ocean Foundation
A Plastic Ocean Foundation is a charitable organisation registered in Hong Kong, dedicated to creating a wave of change to stop plastic pollution and to be part of the solution through science, education and policy advocacy.
Our fundraising goal
We want to raise $10,000 HKD to help A Plastic Ocean Foundation continue to help educate more kids in Hong Kong and help us all become the solution to helping lessen our impact on the environment.

JEMS Character Academy was founded in 2009 and is an after-school learning centre with a vision to see children become junior excellent members of society. With a belief that education goes beyond transferring knowledge and skills, JEMS provides children with Character Education programmes throughout the year. As a part of encouraging students to give back to the community, it is JEMS' hope that students will grow in their empathy and compassion for different needs in our city through the unique JEMS curriculum where students are encouraged to make a difference in the lives of others. As a result, students across various school levels have chosen to start a campaign to fundraise for different charities that help and support some of the needs in Hong Kong.
