We are aiming to help fundraise for a school in the Karnali state of the Himalayas, founded by Sey Namkha Dorje. By opening this page, we hope to support the school's funding by fundraising a total of $48 000 USD. The breakdown is as follows:
Teacher’s salary: 300 USD for one teacher. We have 5 hired teachers and have to pay for 10 months a year.So total amount for 5 teachers for one year comes 15000 USD.
Staffs payment:
Head cook payment for 10 months: 2000 USD
Two helpers payment for 10 months: 150 USD a month for each helpers comes 3000 USD for one year.
Books and stationary :
For eighty kids a year with transportation comes around 3000USD.
Food:
Rice: 2 usd per Kg of rice and total 5000 kgs of rice for 10 months : 11000USD. (Transportation included)
Flour: 2 usd per kgs of flour and total 4000 kgs of flour for 10 months: 8000 USD (Transportation included)
Dal/lentil: 2 Usd per kgs, in total 1000 kgs of Dal for 10 months 2000 USD (Transportation included)
Vegetables/cooking oils etc: around 2500USD
Uniform : 1500 USD
