PT Foundation

PT Foundation, formerly called “Pink Triangle”, (www.ptfmalaysia.org), was registered in 1987 in order to offer HIV and sexuality counselling to gay men in Malaysia. As the HIV infection spread in the country, Pink Triangle expanded its services to activities such as drop-in centres, support groups and outreach work for the communities most at-risk of HIV. These communities include sex workers, the transgender (TG) community, men-who-have-sex-with-men (MSM), people injecting drugs (IDU) and people living with HIV (PLHIV). We also address the needs of children and adolescents affected by HIV. Most of our work is done in two centres in Kuala Lumpur run by over 40 paid staff and many volunteers.
