SWP FReHA (Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan Family Reproductive Health Association) is the first family planning association to be founded in Malaysia. For more than 60 years, FReHA has devoted its energy to passionately providing access, services and educational programmes related to sexual and reproductive health and rights for all level of community. Today, this center still functions to provide sexual reproductive health services such as Pap smear, ultrasound, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) screening, men’s health screening, Hepatitis B vaccination, contraception, family planning counselling, full blood test, urine test and few more.
Besides that, FReHA organizes awareness workshop and health talks on sexual reproductive health and rights for the community. As part of our outreach project, FReHA also looks to secure donations so we can provide clinical services and health information, particularly to the underserved and marginalized communities in and around Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan. Our target populations are B40 community, people living with disability, refugees, asylum seekers, migrant workers, factory workers, indigenous community, ageing community and young people.

How would your contributions Make A Difference:
The funds raised from this site will go towards the cost of vaccinations, Pap smear kits, medical supplies, transport cost for the people in rural areas to reach our clinic and the experienced gynaecologist fees.
Doctors: RM 90 / 2 hours. Every 4 hours = RM 180
Sessional nurse: RM 60 / 2 hours. Every 4 hours = RM 120
Patients: Average in a month = 40 patients
Medical Supplies: Average in a month = RM 700
Hepatitis B & C vaccine = RM 50
The Family Planning Movement was established on the 21 of October 1953. My passionate journey with this movement is still ongoing after 55 years. I will be 78 years old this October 2019, which took me back to a young age of 28 years old when I first started volunteering with this movement. I joined as a Life Member! Happy Birthday to this unforgettable 66-year birthday of the association. My wish list will be realized only with the kind support of private, public and other corporations in terms of human and financial resources can we continue to go on another 6 years providing sexual health services and education. - MADAM VIVIEN OH SWEE CHOO (Chairman, FReHA)
I started volunteering for FREHA since the year 2016 while being an undergraduate. I dedicated many hours of my time volunteering as my passion on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) deepens, with the noble cause that FREHA champions. FREHA has allowed me to build myself as a peer educator and trainer, speaking from a crowd of 10 to 200, spoken in front of various backgrounds. Every single person that calls themselves as humans are affected - from womb to tomb. Recognizing that every single one of us is a part of both the problem and solution is crucial in ending social illnesses and achieving the ultimate well - being for all.
