Hong Kong Association of the Deaf (HKAD) was founded by a group of Deaf volunteers in 1976. HKAD is the largest-and-longest-established non-profit making social service organization managed by the Deaf. HKAD provides comprehensive services for the Deaf, Hard-of-hearing people and their families. HKAD is the representative of Hong Kong in World Federation of the Deaf to attend local, mainland and international conferences for the Deaf.
