Pablo’s BEES Marathon Fundraiser is fundraising for BEES ELEPHANT FOUNDATION

I’m running the Yorkshire Marathon on the 20th October and fundraising for BEES Elephant Sanctuary, an amazing retirement home for elephants who have been victim to the tourism industry in Thailand. I would really appreciate any donations towards this worthwhile cause.

My Story

I’m running the Yorkshire Marathon on the 20th October 2024 and fundraising for BEES Elephant Sanctuary, an amazing retirement home for elephants who have been victim of the tourism industry in Thailand.

Having volunteered at BEES and seeing the amazing work that goes into caring for these majestic animals, I would really appreciate any donation to help the brilliant staff and volunteers to continue to care for the elephants and improve the local community.

My fundraising goal is 20,000 THB, which is around £425.

I am now on week 14 of my training, with less than a month until the marathon, and I have run around 750km so far. In this time I’ve come to really enjoy running and I’ve loved seeing how I have improved in both short distance PBs but also in being able to run further and for longer. I’m very happy that through this process I’ve found a new hobby that I hope to continue long after the marathon!
