E-fundraising for Penang Handicapped Welfare Association

Friendship Hive are fundraising for Pertubuhan Kebajikan Insan Penyayang Pulau Pinang

Due to COVID-19, the organization encountered difficulties in maintaining the monthly costs. The purpose of this e-fundraising is to help this organization financially for their daily household expenses such as food and utilities.

My Story

Hello everybody! We are a group of Electronic Engineering (DEE) and Quantity Surveying (DQS) students from TAR University College Penang.
As part of our course assessment, we have been tasked to raise fund for a charity home of our choice. We have identified the Penang Handicapped Welfare Association as our aid recipient.
The Penang Handicapped Welfare Association is located at No.661 Jalan Jelutong, 11600 Penang. The association provides food and shelter for mentally handicapped orphans and the homeless. It is a non-government organization which depends on donations from associations, companies and members of the public. 
As Covid-19 struck, the association have been finding it even more difficult to sustain as the number of donors have become lesser. Therefore, it is imperative that we step in quickly to provide financial aid to the association in order for them to pay their bills, expenses and to purchase the daily necessities.
Our objective is to raise RM500.00 between 28/11/21 and 9/12/21. Simply Giving will then hand-over the cash contribution to the person in-charge (William Lim).
