Our mission:
To fundraise "For our Farmers Organisation" by creating 'Project Pag-Ani'. The term "Pag-Ani means to harvest or to reap in Filipino. Our goal is to help farmers in the Philippines to be able to continue to provide for their family by enabling them to prepare for harvesting for the next season. Furthermore we would like to continually support the education of kids within the farming community by also raising funds for scholarships. This will enable them to study despite the calamity and pandemic that has hit us and hopefully they reap their academic rewards in the future.
Our Goal:
We aim to raise PHP50,000 for this project. This would be split evenly into two.
Help 13 children (Grades 1-12) get a scholarship for 1 month as it costs PHP2,000 to support 1 child through school.
Help 48 families receive grocery packs, term life insurance, hermetic technology packs and water bill subsidies. Overall, these costs PHP500 per family

Why?
This year alone, farmers faced difficult adversities mostly due to the ongoing pandemic and the recent typhoons that struck the Philippines. To name a few:
farmers found it hard to sell their crops as there was a nationwide wide lock-down. Their expected income decreased and it became harder for them to support their family.
Due to the typhoons, , they have lost their products that could have been harvested and replanting has become more challenging.

Their children unable to further their studies due to financial constraint and the challenges that COVID-19 has implicated.
How
During the month of December, our team would like to celebrate the season of giving by hosting different events leading up to a wonderful concert that would take place in a live streaming app called Kumu. This would take place on Saturday, 19th December 2020, hosted by Jeri Vega Oro.
Inside the streaming app, we would host engaging and fun events where audiences would be able to send virtual gifts which would later be converted into cash and donated back to our cause. These events involve Christmas carolling, baking tutorials, raffles and games where everyone is invited to participate.
We would also hold events outside Kumu such as gaming streams and podcast streams where you can unwind and relax with us while we entertain you to raise awareness through Facebook Live.
Please help us in any way you can! Let us support the farmers and their families to restart their lives and assist their children to become anyone who they want to be. Thank you very much!
