My Story

Hello! Thank you for visiting our fundraising page :) We are a bunch of animal-lovers who have come together to raise funds for ACRES: Animal Concerns Research and Education Society. We would be taking part in this year's Sundown Marathon on 31st May. 16 of us will be running the 10k event and 8 will be running the full marathon. As a non-profit organisation, ACRES constantly need support and donations from the public to not only operate their 24h wildlife rescue centre but also rehabilitate the lives of abandoned, injured, mistreated, trafficked animals. Since its establishment,many animals have been given a 2nd lease of life under the relentless care and work of the passionate staff and volunteers there. Apart from raising funds, we hope that our campaign will raise awareness amongst the public about what they can do to help the organization. Many of us are running such long distances for the first time. Nevertheless, we have taken on this challenge to spread the cause and lend a voice to the animals. Every mile run is a mile closer to the finishing line. Every donation goes a long way towards improving the lives of many more animals in need of our help.
