Hello all, I am Uncle Adam here, Have you guys heard of Greenpeace? I am sure many of you guys are already aware that Greenpeace is an international environmental NGO. Today I'm gonna share with you guys about the latest campaign of Greenpeace in Malaysia which is "SAY NO TO SINGLE-USE PLASTICS".
How many of you guys know that Malaysia is actually becoming one of the largest dumping grounds for single-use plastic waste since China has banned taking in plastic wastes.?? Shocking??? But that's the truth, Malaysia has been importing all these plastic wastes from first world countries. Why?? There are many irresponsible parties that actually claim that we import this wastes to be recycled, but how far is that true, definitely not, it consumes a lot of time and money to recycle this plastic wastes. As most of us already know plastic is very dangerous not only to us humans because it contains microbeads that carry heavy metals such as mercury that causes harm to our human body. Not only that plastic wastes cause sea animals like turtles and fishes to die of suffocation as plastics are misidentified for jellyfish. That's serious right?? So you may wonder what are we doing ?? We have managed to shut down multiple illegal operators that are dealing with this plastic waste in the Klang Valley, on the whole, we are trying our level best to send all this plastics back to its native-land as this issue has already spread to the northern region of Malaysia.
Just a random question, I wonder how would we feel if we were to compile our neighbors rubbish... hmmm Definitely sickening right. Greenpeace has always believed in people's power, that is why we only accept our funding from individuals of the public. Can you imagine this importing were to go on, what is going to happen to our beloved country? Just think about our next generation, don't you think they deserve better, so here is a chance how you can make a difference for our next generation, join us now join our movement and make a difference, they deserve better. All you guys have to do is by humbly giving us a contribution to HELP US SAVE OUR MALAYSIA. TOGETHER LET'S MAKE A CHANGE.
THANK YOU.
