My Story
I've traveled to many different countries for humanitarian work and served the poor in many places. I've seen some hardcore poverty and I know that needs are everywhere. Yes... we can't help everyone, but we can help someone. We can't do everything, but we can do something. I will continue to do my part and I hope it will inspire many more others to do the same.

I chose to partner with Dignity because they carry a deep sense of commitment in transforming the poor through education and their core values resonate with mine. Therefore, I can assure you that your seeds of giving will be sown into good ground.

HELLO 亲戚朋友们：
大家好！
这个月底29号，我将会迎来我人生第35个年头了。近日，我正反思着我的过去。我心怀感恩，上帝赐了我如此充满色彩的生命。我深信人生是有一定的意义，我们不单单为自己而活，我们应该向标杆前进，为这世界创造不一样的故事。这故事当中，我们是有义务美化世界，使人成仁。最终我们的人生不在于我们活了多久，而是在于我们活了多少。
我曾为人道援助而周游列国。我亲眼目睹贫瘠，而这让我了解到世界各地都有一处是需要帮助的。虽然说我们是无法帮助所有人，但我们却可以帮助到某一人；我们是无法做所有的事，但我们却可以做某一事。因此我会继续尽力地做我所能够的，希望这能启发更多人和我一样，做一样的事。
今年，我想来个不一样的。与其有你们一群亲朋好友为我大事铺张地为我庆生，不如让我们来做一场筹款活动——一场我心思所系打破贫穷循环的筹款活动。
施比受更为有福，从“送我”至“赠他”是我今年的生日愿望。我深信教育是能为弱势群体打破贫穷循环。为此，我想让此运动就先从在我们展开，赞助一群居住在我国贫穷的难民孩子上学。
因此，我将把我的生日祝福认献并回馈至 ’Dignity For Children Foundation’ (www.dignityforchildren.org)（点击观赏视频）
为此，支持此筹款运动是我最想得到的生日礼物，而我选择Dignity是因为该协会的核心价值与我相似——通过教育来改变贫穷。我深信你撒的种子是将会落到在好土里。雨果曾说过：“多办一所学校，可少建一座监狱"。
让我们对抗贫穷，为贫穷的他们还原童真，修复尊严，带来希望。

Happy Birthday Shirley!! Thank you for everything, your words, your encouragement, your faith, your sacrifices to the church and people, your cheerful smile, your comforting hugs and your prayers during altar call, your "lead-by-example" lifestyle, your time in counselling my sister & many more. Your faith has deeply encourage me in many ways. You have always been my role model ever since I accepted Christ in CHCKL 6 years ago, and in my heart I always wish to be disciple by you. God bless you & David for a greater journey ahead. :)
