Design for Change Malaysia is powered by Impact Hub KL as a programme under its Empowered Learners Pillar. DFC Malaysia is also affiliated with the global DFC movement - one of the largest movements empowering children to drive change in their own communities using the simple design-thinking framework of Feel Imagine Do Share (FIDS).
Design for Change Malaysia is building a movement of superheroes and eduheroes in Malaysia who have the “I Can”/”Saya Boleh” spirit to create change where they live. Launched on World Children’s Day, 20 November 2016, the programme to date has empowered 250 students and 50 teachers in 20 schools around Malaysia, and hopes to “infect” 2 million children and 100,000 teachers in Malaysia with the “I CAN!” bug!
