My Story

Hello! I’ve set up this fundraiser to help the beneficiaries of For our Farmers PH, Inc., a youth-led, non-stock, non-profit organization which aims to help and uplift local farmers and fisherfolks. Starting out as a COVID-19 donation drive and immediate response initiative to help farmers and fisherfolks who were greatly affected by the pandemic, For our Farmers PH, Inc., has since become a non-profit organization that is committed to helping and assisting farmers and fisherfolks through sustainable and inclusive projects (e.g. educational assistance, financial subsidies, relief operations).

Friends might notice that my chosen cause for my birthday fundraiser this year has deviated a lot from my usual causes - education, poverty, community building, disaster relief, hunger, and environment. This is because ever since I started working in the agricultural industry, I have had the privilege to observe and interact firsthand with our Filipino farmers. These unsung heroes whose contribution to society has been highlighted during the pandemic work tirelessly to produce most of the food that we eat but receive very little in return. Let's give back to our local farmers and show them our appreciation. :)
