My Story
Being one of the earliest and biggest membership in the United Architects of the Philippines, the UAP Makati Chapter strongly believes in continuously contributing positive action, under the umbrella of UAP National Board’s “SERVANT LEADERSHIP” theme.
To date the UAP Makati Chapter is fortunate enough to share a rich history of luminaries in the architecture industry. We have been supporting numerous programs for the children, for local communities, for the natural and the built environment, and also for preserving cultural heritage, not to mention promoting the architectural profession.
For your appreciation, our Chapter’s theme this year is ARQUIVIVO, in Ancient Greek ARQUI means “Chief, Highest or Most Extreme” and VIVO, in Italian means “I LIVE” and in Spanish “ALIVE”, in which we aim to breathe new life into the chapter as we press on in these tumultuous times. We want to move towards the light of hope, at the end of the long dark tunnel, while aligning with the UAP National Board’s vision of “Members-First, Unity in Diversity and Good Governance.”
