and is fundraising for New Life Foundation

My Story

I've been volunteering at New Life Foundation in Chiang Rai Thailand. New Life is a low cost mindfulness based recovery center for people from all over the world suffering from addiction, abuse, stress, and other psychological problems. It is a tremendously effective and beautiful program, based on Buddhist philosophy, sustainable living, organic agriculture, yoga and meditation. Right now we are raising funds to buy a dairy cow, in another step to make our food sources more sustainable and ethical. I'm taking part in a 10 k run to raise 85,000 baht to buy our first lady cow and her essentials. Thanks to everyone that has helped support this so far I have set a new goal of 10,000 Thai Baht, which is about 330 USD. Can you donate a few dollars to support this good cause? One dollar goes much further in Thailand than at home. We are doing the donations through Simplygiving.com, which is a very secure site. It feels good to help a beautiful thing prosper.
