My Story

在2012年，我以「奧比斯學生大使團長」身份，跟隨奧比斯到訪孟加拉，了解奧比斯在當地的救盲工作，並探訪眼疾病人，見證他們透過手術重拾光明。這趟旅程令我畢生難忘，我不但切身明白到救盲工作刻不容緩，更讓我知道我們的支持足以改善眼疾患者的一生！ 請各位贊助我參與今次的馬拉松，透過捐出的一分一毫，支持奧比斯的救盲工作，並為眼疾人士燃點重見光明的希望！ Hi everyone, I am Joey Leung and I will be running in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014 for ORBIS Hong Kong. I followed ORBIS to Bangladesh in a student ambassador trip in 2012, when we visited visually impaired patients and witnessed how their restore their sight through medical surgeries. The journey was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, from which I truly understand the urgency to help the visually impaired and how our donation could change their lives forever. I will be raising fund for ORBIS in this run to support their sight-saving work worldwide. Please support me in this meaningful run and every dollar you donate will bring the visually impaired around the world a step closer to brightness.
