My Story

I've always been an anxious person and since 2019, it has gotten worse and worse, to the point where I wouldn't sleep for nights on end and on the nights that I did sleep, I'd wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing and something I call "the feeling of impending doom". It was scary, and it fuelled my anxiety further. 

After a series of panic attacks in 2021, I was encouraged to see a therapist and oh boy how it has helped -- even if I was very reluctant and flippant about it at first. 

Today, I still have my moments but I feel better, my outlook has changed on a lot of things, I feel stronger, more confident and happier. 

Mental health is something that many people don't feel comfortable talking about and I hope that changes.
