Light Up A Neuron fundraising is carried out by a group of students from AIESEC in Taylor’s University. We are in collaboration with MND Malaysia, a non-profit organisation that aids the Motor Neuron Disease (MND) patients in Malaysia.

What is Motor Neuron Disease (MND)?
MND is a condition that affects the brain and nerves, leading to muscle weakness and eventually losing the control of one's voluntary and involuntary muscles. 

Imagine wanting to hug your loved one or to give them a simple smile but couldn’t do so anymore. The brain and mind can think, their eyes can see but they are paralyzed. This is what they face every single day and with no cure at hand, their condition only worsens as days pass. 

WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP?

Through this fundraising we aim to:

1. Spread awareness about Motor Neuron Disease

2. Raise target crowdfunding of RM2,500 for the benefit of MND patients

3. Support MND Malaysia by engaging with volunteers, caregivers, donors, specialists through social media to further aid the MND patients/warriors!
