Light Up A Neuron fundraising is carried out by a group of students from AIESEC in Taylor’s University. We are in collaboration with MND Malaysia, a non-profit organisation that aids the Motor Neuron Disease (MND) patients in Malaysia.

What is Motor Neuron Disease (MND)?
MND is a condition that affects the brain and nerves, leading to muscle weakness and eventually losing the control of one's voluntary and involuntary muscles. Imagine wanting to hug your loved one or to give them a simple smile but couldn’t do so anymore. MND warriors go through these everyday, feeling isolated from their surrounding and the loss of control on themselves. MND's condition deteriorates as time passes and no one can tell when the MND patients' life will end. To date, there is no medicine or treatment that can halt or reverse this progressive condition.

But, does it mean "there is nothing we can do" ? NO! There are many to do and WE NEED YOU! 

Through this fundraising we aim to:

1. Spread awareness about Motor Neuron Disease
2. Raise target crowdfunding of RM2,500 for the benefit of MND patients
3. Support MND Malaysia by encouraging more volunteers, caregivers, donors, specialists to engage and further aid the MND patients/warriors!

*Funds raised will be allocated to MND Malaysia, for purchasing non-invasive ventilator equipment to support patients with breathing, caregiver programs and bonding activities for the MND community.
