The Blue Cap Movement was initiated in June 2015 by urologists from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya and prostate cancer survivors from the Prostate Cancer Support Group. We aspire to "lay the foundation today for man of tomorrow", creating public awareness of urological cancer (e.g. prostate cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer) and promoting exercise amongst cancer survivors. All funds raised through Blue Cap Movement programs would be channeled into "Urological Cancer Trust Fund" (Ref. no. KWJ-UM.0000393/KWJ.AK-0000020190) under the University of Malaya Bursary and entitled for tax-exemption (Ref. no. LHDN.01/35/42/51/179-6.0860). The funding would be allocated for financial assistance of urological cancer treatment, community awareness programs and urological cancer research.
