SOS Children’s Villages works in more than 130 countries to support families and help children at risk grow up in a loving home. In a world filled with poverty, violence, and injustice, the greatest victims are often children.

Dedicated to helping children at risk, SOS Children's Villages Indonesia has been working in Indonesia since 1972. There are our villages in 8 cities in Indonesia, Banda Aceh, Meulaboh, Medan, Cibubur, Lembang, Semarang, Flores, and Bali.

For almost 43 years, SOS Children's Villages Indonesia builds SOS families for children who have lost parental care. SOS families provide individualised care and helping the development, education and health of each child. We've been providing long-term support to improve the quality of life for Indonesian children and their families through our education, health, nutrition, child protection and livelihoods programs.

2,000 Indonesian SOS children have become independent and mature enough to support their life. Right now there are 6,500 Indonesian children in our care, education, and health – helping children go to school, providing health and nutrition services so they grow up strong, and ensuring vulnerable children are protected.
