We are a small animal welfare organization (Registered Society Number 28270) located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Team for Animals in Lantau South (TAILS)  is a non-profit organization that provides a point of contact, safety and care for animals in need on Lantau Island.

We aim to promote animal welfare through education in the community, providing animal rescue, nurture, care and medical treatment (where required) for surrendered, abandoned, injured, neglected or abused animals, and rehoming animals to suitable, caring long-term families.

As a non-profit organizations, we are dependent on the dedication and passion of our volunteers and the kindness and generosity of our donors and sponsors for all of our operations, in particular medical treatment of animals, but also fostering, boarding, and daily care. We are in the process of applying for tax exemption status (Section 88), but cannot provide tax exemption receipts at this time.
