My Story

Raising awareness of mental health issues is very close to my heart. Over the years I have experienced insomnia, anorexia, anxiety and depression, it can be very isolating and distressing. When I was younger there was a lot of stigma and there was less awareness around how to manage mental health issues. Thankfully things are starting to change and MindHK are doing some wonderful work to build awareness and provide support to the community. The restrictions in Hong Kong have created a lot of stress and uncertainty but MindHK have been incredible in producing resources to help people navigate quarantine as well as COVID19 tips.

Exercise is a very important part of my life - I have consistently exercised throughout my adulthood and it helps reduce my anxiety, boosts my mood and improves my sleep. Even a walk with Dingo makes such a difference!

As a result, I'm participating in MindHKs February Stepathon where I will aim to walk 350,000 steps across the month. If you have any money to spare, please donate to MindHK and help ensure that people don't face mental health issues alone.
